You may already be knowledgeable of some of the FAQ items below. We have kept this section decidedly simple to keep it on an even keel for those who may require answers to these fundamental questions, before taking the big leap into WWW.

Why do I need a website?
What did you do when you needed to find a plumber last time? You are more likely to respond, “I googled”. At the very least, you are likely to answer, “I checked Yellow pages on the Internet”. We are living in a world of information-at-finger-tips and shoe-string marketing budgets. Owning a website could very well be the answer to create wider visibility for your business with minimum cost.
What is domain name registration?
Just like how you register a company’s name with Companies Register, you need to register your website name with Domain Name Registrar. The first step is to check if the domain name you have decided is available for you, or has it been taken by someone else. If it is free, you may go ahead registering it. If you require help with this, we are glad to support.
What is web hosting?
Once you have registered your domain name and the website has been developed, the technical code needs to be uploaded to a Web Server owned by any one of the many Internet Service Providers. In order to do that, you need to hire a storage space with one such provider. Again you need not worry. We will take care of this for you.
Can I have my own mail id @mybusiness.co.nz?
Yes, you can. In fact it is a good idea to have your own business email id. You may be able to create a more professional impression with your potential customers.
What about photographic images for my website?
There are many ways you can get appropriate photos for your website. If you have good quality images yourself, then that is a start. Or you can engage a professional photographer. Alternatively, you can procure images from a Stock agency. There are many good agencies existing in the market place and the images are not expensive at all.
Why don’t you write the content for my website?
While we can help you with the look and feel of your website, you know your business better than anyone else. You are the right person to determine what you want to tell your audience about your business. We will work with you to make the content effective, however the inputs require your active involvement.
What is SEO?
SEO, or Search Engine Optimisation, is a sequence of actions required to make your website appear in the first couple of result pages, when someone searches for similar businesses using a search engine like Google.
